Donating blood
So I was watching the Housewives of Orange County. One of ladies on there decides to donate blood. She builds it up like its her big fucking humanitarian effort.
You ever wonder what really happens to the blood you donate?
The hospital sells it back to you at $300 a pint. Sounds like an amazing business plan. Free product sold for insane amounts when you need it most (or youll die).
They always drum up this propoganda about a blood shortage…. If it was in such short supply dont you think they’d shell out more than a cookie and some OJ.
How many people would donate blood if they payed 50 bucks a pint?
